How to package and present a honey gift
Honey arrives in shipping packaging, not gift wrap, so plan to wrap it yourself. The good news is that honey is easy to make look good.
- Let the jar show. Raw honey catches the light. Wrap the lid with a square of fabric or kraft paper and tie it with twine, rather than hiding the whole jar in paper.
- Add a wooden dipper or small spoon if you have one. It signals "use this," not "save this."
- Box honeycomb flat. Comb should travel and sit level. Keep it in its original container, set it inside a small gift box, and tell the recipient to open it the right way up.

What to tell the recipient: storage and crystallization
Raw honey behaves differently from supermarket honey, and a short note saves confusion. You can copy this onto the gift card:
Store at room temperature, out of direct sun, with the cap closed. Refrigeration is not needed and speeds up crystallization. Raw honey crystallizes over time. That is normal and reversible. Stand the jar in warm (not boiling) water until it clears.
