About Wild California Honeycomb
Experience honey in its purest, most natural form. Our honeycomb is cut fresh from the hive, containing raw honey sealed in hexagonal beeswax cells exactly as the bees created it. Each bite delivers a burst of floral honey with the delicate, chewy texture of natural beeswax. Freshly harvested to order — please allow 2-3 business days for preparation before shipping. What Makes Our Honeycomb Special Cut fresh from the hive — never frozen, never stored long-term 100% raw and unprocessed — beeswax, honey, and natural pollen intact Northern California wildflower — complex floral flavor from Mendocino County apiaries Hand-selected frames — only fully capped, peak-quality comb makes the cut How to Enjoy Slice and serve on a cheese board with aged cheddar, figs, and nuts. Spread on warm toast. Drop a chunk into hot tea. Or just bite right in — chew the wax like gum and enjoy the honey burst. Storage Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate — cold temperatures cause the honey to crystallize faster and harden the wax. Honeycomb keeps for months when stored properly. Wild California Honeycomb facts
- Ingredients
- Raw honey. Nothing else — no blending, no added syrup, no flavouring.
- Packaging
- Cut comb in a sealed food-grade container.
- Source
- Northern California wildflower forage.
- Handling
- Raw and unfiltered. Never heated above 95°F. Strained once through a coarse mesh to remove wax and hive debris. Never fine-filtered, so the natural pollen stays in.
- Crystallisation
- Raw honey crystallizes over time. That is normal and reversible — stand the jar in warm (not boiling) water until it clears.
- Storage
- Store at room temperature, out of direct sun, with the cap closed. Refrigeration is not needed and speeds up crystallization.
- Shipping
- Cut to order — allow 2-3 business days before it ships. Flat $4.90 shipping, free over $50. Shipping details
- Returns
- Unopened food products can be returned within 30 days. Read the returns policy
